My Views on the 81st Oscar Awards

The 81st Oscar Awards also known as the 2009 Annual Academy Awards was a tremendous success. They did a very great job in choosing the best of the best films in 2008 from all angles and all aspects. I really want to commend to cast of Slumdog Millionaire for the job well done. To the Director, Producer, Cameraman, Cinematographer, Actors and Actresses, you did a very great job and made your country proud.

I felt like I’m part of the film actually because I already watched it for about 10 times already. The film is heart warming and touching. The life of Jamal Malik was also very inspiring. He did the right thing, he never surrendered until the end, and he did everything he can, he even joined a game show just to find his one true love, Latika (Freida Pinto).

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as well should be commended for its great idea of having a very curious case. An old boy from birth and getting younger as he aged. This film received the best in Special Effects award during the 81st Academy Awards.

Heath Ledger should also be commended. If he’s the leading actor, he should receive the Best Actor award. He really performed the character named “Joker” well. If I may say, he even out performed and he’s far way more better than the Joker in the comic book and the old Joker. I mean, he’s really really a great actor. His family is really proud of him as he received the award. I also felt the love of his family while watching them on TV as they are receiving the best supporting actor award. The audience did a standing ovation to the family of Heath Ledger. Others had a tears of joy, and others are almost crying for Heath because they are happy of him at the same time, sad because he’s gone from his physical body.

Sean Pean (Best Actor) and Kate Winslet (Best Actress) really deserved the award. Kate Winslet was also suprised because she was nominated together with the legendary actress, drama queen, and all around talent Meryl Streep. Anyway, she’s the best actress and she really did he best in the movie “The Reader”.

Anyway, I would just like to commend the 81st Academy Awards for a job well done. Congratulations once again to all the winners. I really want to watch Slumdog Millionaire once again!

Did Daphne Millbrook Really Die?

After watch Heroes Season 2 Episode 15 this question appeared in my mind. Did Daphne Millbrook Really Die? I really don’t want her to be dead. She’s the only one who is capable of saving all the rest of the Heroes: Matt, Ando, Mohinder, and Hiro. She was shot as prophesied by Matt in a drawing. She was badly shot and I think she’s dead, but I hope she was not.

I really can’t wait for the next episode. It’s said that Hiro will regain his powers back if he can find the mystical sword that Matt was pertaining in the drawing. Hiro is the only chance of the heroes to revenge. There’s also a mysterious rebel who sent an SMS to the Cheer Leader about rebellion against the US government and the stupid Nathan.

Here’s a teaser video for all heroes fans out there! Aren’t you excited? Because I’m extremely excited of what will happen next!

But I really think and hope that the future is true and Daphne Millbrook is alive because her future was:

When she arrived back in Brooklyn, her back massively burned, and collapses and dies in her husband’s arms.

After a few weeks I earned one dollar!

Yes! I’m telling you the truth! After a few weeks of doing nothing and just placing the Adsense code inside my blog, I earned a whooping $1.00! That’s 1 USD and that’s big enough to buy me a sandwich and a juice drink. However, I still have a very big problem. I should earn at least $100.00 in order for me to claim my earnings. And also, I should reach $10.00 in order to unlock my account and add a method of payment. After adding the method of payment, my Adsense account will require me a PIN. They said that they will send it thru snail mail. How I wish it will arrive here safely at Turks and Caicos Islands.

Internation snail mails will arrive for a month or two in this island. So if we sum it up, I will reach $10.00 in 6 months, then they will send a PIN, then the PIN will arrive at approximately 2 months. I will then enter the PIN then wait for my Adsense earning to reach $100.00. I estimate the wait time for at least 2 years, then I will get my dollar check. I should pay $25.00 so that they will send to check to me thru DHL. It will be dangerous if they will send it thru snail mail again. So after waiting for so long, I will then receive my check. So that’s how many years? I guess I will receive my first Adsense earnings by 2011 eh? Not bad, at least I earned. I will just be patient and wait.

I’m so excited for 2011 and I can’t wait! Wow how many days and nights will I count until this very momentous day will come to reality!

I Lost My Notebook

My very very old notebook was lost inside school yesterday. I don’t know where I left it but the last thing I remembered was it was inside my bag. I assume that someone stole it from me in stealth. I really can’t recall how was it stolen nor had a hint of who stole it.

Anyway, I don’t know what to do next because it was already gone. My notes from last year, my important write ups, math formulas, poems, account passwords and more useful and confidential information about myself was inside that damn notebook. I should have created a photo copy of it or scan it and save it inside my PC for back up purpose.

At least now, I have learned that I should back up everything including hard copies because we never know when it will be gone. It will just vanish in an instant even if we don’t want it to disappear. We should always be prepared in whatever we do or whatever we are trying to do. We should be keen and observe and surrounding vigilantly and always put our eyes in our belongings as what a lot of sign boards inside the bank and malls say.

Now I will be more careful and not as negligent as I was before.
