Just got back from Sri Lanka!

It has been a while since I last updated this blog! Whew! I really had fun during my last vacation in Sri Lanka and I wanna share it with you guys, if there’s anyone who still reads my boring blog. I really had fun visiting places in South Asia, taking a lot of pictures and play online bingo games before I sleep. Anyway, I’ll just share what I wanna share whether you read it or not.

Last December 28, my friends and I went to Sri Lanka, specifically in Colombo City. We checked-in in Ceylon Continental Hotel. It’s an upmarket transient hotel, located in the heart of the city, overlooking the Indian Ocean. The hotel is quite nice and suits our budget. There are 10 of us in a group, but we didn’t checked-in on the same hotel. My batch mates Stacey and Anna booked at Galadari Hotel, while Christopher, Mincy and Josh booked at Holed at the Hilton Hotel in Colombo, because they are a big fan of Paris Hilton. WTF right?

Hail To The Birth Of The Androidland

Everytime you want to check something new about Apple Inc., you’ll directly go to the nearest Apple Store so as when you want to check what’s the hippest BlackBerry phone, you’ll definitely go to a BlackBerry Store. However, whenever you want to check a new android gadget, you don’t know where to go. They’re everywhere actually but they’re always under a specific brand. Whenever you ask someone about how android works, the sales agent often times share how extravagant the gadget is because of the brand and not because of the operating system. Words like “it has a better camera”, “its battery last longer” etc.

I get lured easily whenever someone with integral knowledge shares something about a gadget but enough with the basics or the specs as we can always read it from the leaflets or in the internet. What amazes me more is when you can explain comprehensively how the operating system in a particular gadget works in that way I would know what it’s capable of doing.

Sustaining Life Through Organic Farming

With today’s advancement in research and development, the supposedly fresh produce that we eat have already become less nutritious and beneficial to our health. That’s why agriculture experts are now promoting the practice of organic farming. Practicing Organic Farming in your land will not only produce healthy crops but might as well provide jobs to the locals in the area. Compared to the traditional farming, this one requires more labor thus producing more rural jobs. Profit wise, Organic farming is way profitable compared to the conventional way. Fertilizer and pesticide costs are lesser and consumers tends to pay higher to its products.
